Mr Shepherd takes responsibility for the sales and marketing of Adexsi’s CE certified product solutions that include smoke ventilators, daylighting products, skylights, roof domes, access hatches, louvres, fire curtains and screening. The company’s ranges are fully and independently tested to BS EN 12101-2.
Mr Shepherd brings a wealth of HVAC experience to the job including a background in design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of smoke, powered and natural ventilation louvres, acoustic and solar control products for retail, commercial and Industrial clients. He has a special aptitude for bespoke solutions.
The Adexsi group has three European factories producing around 80,000 ventilation units per annum from its market leading Souchier, Hexadome and Langethermo ranges. It employs 450 people worldwide providing roof and façade ventilation systems and associated controls.
Portfolio
It owns SIA, which provides design, installation, maintenance and replacement services throughout Europe. The recent addition of Boullet which manufactures fire curtains, partitions and fire-rated glass solutions gives them a broad portfolio of smoke and fire safety products. Along with his domestic responsibilities, Mr Shepherd will also focus on overseas markets; looking after Adexsi UK’s growing export activity, particularly in the Middle East.
“This is a very exciting time for Adexsi Group and smoke and natural ventilation markets in general,” said Mr Shepherd. “I am delighted to take on the extra responsibility of sales director at a time when the company is poised for significant growth both at home and abroad.” Mr Shepherd has already been pivotal in securing a number of key projects with major blue chip clients since he joined Adexsi in early 2013.
“As a result of several years of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, we are now able to provide a very broad range of smoke and fire protection products to the UK and export markets,” he said. “We are in the fortunate position of being able to develop bespoke solutions for a number of high value projects and I look forward to working even more closely with colleagues and clients in the years to come.”
