The St. Peter’s Square area in Manchester is undergoing some remarkable redevelopments, with modern new retail and business facilities making the location attractive to companies and investors, while creating new jobs and a striking architectural zone for the city.
Developed by Mosley Street Ventures with Laing O’Rourke as the main contractor, the Two St. Peter’s Square building offers 5,203 sq ft of retail space and 161,065 sq ft of high quality, BREEAM ‘Excellent’ Grade A office space across 12 floors, with the addition of a two-storey basement car park.
Contractor Crown House appointed Adexsi UK to undertake the design and installation of smoke control systems for the development at Two St. Peter’s Square, ensuring a safe working environment for building occupants.
Adexsi UK’s VeriShaft was the ideal choice for the Two St. Peter’s Square building, offering a mechanically-powered smoke shaft solution that allowed for minimal use of lettable floor space for the shaft, as opposed to a naturally ventilated alternative.
