Overview:
The home of Bristol City F.C. and Bristol Rugby is currently undergoing an incredible £45m redevelopment, bringing its facilities in line with some of the best in the country and marking the venue out as a destination not just for match days, but for corporate and personal events such as weddings too.
The newest addition is a stand that will feature – in addition to regular sports event seating – 21 executive boxes, meeting rooms, a restaurant floor, exhibition/museum area for non-match days in addition to player facilities such as dressing rooms, physio room and laundry room as well as medical facilities and warm-up gyms.
Outcome:
Adexsi UK has been working to install the mechanical smoke ventilation to fire fighting lobbies / stairwells within the new Lansdown Stand (previously known simply as the West Stand) by utilising its VeriShaft technology. This system is designed to clear smoke if a fire breaks out, making it safer for occupants of the stand to escape and easier for fire fighters to get up close and personal with the blaze. With concise project management, Adexsi UK was able to deliver the project in just four weeks.
